Standing vs lying down: does position change your ankle strength results?
NCT ID NCT07386132
Summary
This study investigated whether measuring ankle and toe muscle strength while standing gives different results than measuring while lying down. Researchers tested 33 healthy adults in both positions to see which method might be more accurate for clinical assessments. The goal was to help standardize how doctors measure muscle strength during rehabilitation and research.
