Zap and stretch: can a combo therapy fix wobbly ankles?
NCT ID NCT07190599
Summary
This study is testing if a combination of gentle electrical muscle stimulation and guided stretching is better than stretching alone for improving long-term ankle issues after a sprain. Researchers will enroll 60 adults with a history of ankle sprains to compare the two approaches over 12 sessions. They will measure improvements in pain, balance, strength, and how well the ankle moves.
