New foot rehab program aims to stop ankles from giving way

NCT ID NCT04493645

Summary

This study is testing a 6-week foot-intensive rehabilitation program for adults with chronic ankle instability. The goal is to see if this specialized training can reduce future ankle sprains, improve balance and strength, and decrease symptoms compared to standard rehab. Researchers will measure how often ankles 'give way,' track new sprains, and assess physical function.
