First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at 20 patients under 55 with knee arthritis who had a surgery called high tibial osteotomy (HTO) to realign their knee. The goal was to see if fixing the knee also changed ankle pain and ankle joint alignment. Researchers measured pain and bone angles before and after surgery to understand the connection.
