Can a simple joint technique boost hoops performance?
NCT ID NCT06828744
Summary
This study tested whether adding a specific ankle joint mobilization technique to a standard exercise program could improve ankle flexibility and athletic performance in young basketball players. Thirty-eight athletes with limited ankle motion on one side were randomly assigned to receive either just the exercises or the exercises plus the joint technique. Researchers measured ankle range of motion, strength, and performance in jumps and hops before, after the 5-week program, and three months later.
