Elastic band trick boosts ankle flexibility in healthy people

NCT ID NCT07442968

First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at whether using a floss band (an elastic wrap) around the ankle during movement can improve how far you can bend your ankle and your balance. Fifty healthy adults were split into two groups: one used just the floss band, the other combined it with a joint-mobilization technique. Researchers measured ankle range of motion and balance before and after the session. The goal was to see if these techniques work, not to treat any disease.
