New implant tested to speed ankle surgery recovery

NCT ID NCT07401095

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a special implant during ankle ligament repair surgery helps patients recover better than standard surgery alone. Researchers will compare pain, function, and recovery speed in 40 adults with a torn ankle ligament. Patients will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard repair or the standard repair plus the new BioBrace implant.
