Ankle surgery showdown: which fix lasts longer?
NCT ID NCT07200271
Summary
This study is comparing two different surgical methods to fix a chronically unstable ankle. It will enroll 36 adults with repeated ankle sprains to see if a newer, less invasive arthroscopic technique using donor tissue works as well or better than the traditional open surgery. Researchers will measure pain, function, recovery time, and complications over a year to determine the best approach.
