New study tests stronger ankle surgery for those with loose joints

Summary

This study compares two surgical methods to fix chronic ankle instability in people with joint hypermobility. One method adds a strong suture tape for extra support. The goal is to see which approach leads to better ankle function and fewer re-injuries. 86 adults aged 18-60 with loose joints and chronic ankle sprains will take part.
