Sound cues could help people walk away from ankle injuries
NCT ID NCT06868316
Summary
This study is testing a new walking training program for people with chronic ankle instability, a condition where the ankle frequently gives way. The training uses real-time sound feedback to help people adjust their walking pattern. Researchers want to see if this six-week program improves walking mechanics, reduces ankle symptoms, and prevents long-term joint damage compared to standard walking practice.
