NCT ID NCT07500662
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether wearing a carbon fiber ankle foot brace helps stroke survivors walk better while doing another task, like thinking or carrying something. 26 people who had a stroke completed walking tests with and without the brace while their brain activity was measured. The goal was to see if the brace reduces mental effort and improves walking during everyday multitasking.
