NCT ID NCT07319260

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested a new way to help children aged 3 to 7 feel less pain after heart surgery. Instead of only using standard pain medicine and care, nurses also played the child's favorite cartoons and interacted with them during the show. The goal was to see if this fun, interactive approach could lower pain and anxiety. The study involved 70 children and compared those who got the cartoon nursing to those who received only standard care.
