New software may predict brain aneurysm recovery
NCT ID NCT03663257
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested a software tool that measures blood flow in brain aneurysms to see if it can predict whether the aneurysm will fully close up after a stent is placed. Researchers observed 132 adults with unruptured brain aneurysms for 12 months after treatment. The goal was to learn if the tool's measurements could help doctors know which aneurysms are likely to heal completely.
