Could a steady sleep during surgery mean a smoother Wake-Up?

NCT ID NCT07454629

Summary

This study aims to understand if fluctuations in how deeply a patient is asleep during surgery affect their recovery quality afterward. Researchers will observe 126 adults having planned gallbladder surgery, using standard brainwave monitors to track anesthesia depth. They will compare this data to patient questionnaires about their recovery experience the day after surgery.
