Sleep after septoplasty: does anesthesia choice matter?

NCT ID NCT07416773

First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looked at 72 adults having nose surgery (septoplasty) to see if the type of anesthesia they received affected their sleep quality afterward. Patients got either total intravenous or inhalational anesthesia as part of their normal care. Sleep quality was checked by phone interviews 7 and 15 days after surgery. The goal was to gather real-world information, not to change any treatments.
