Major study launches to uncover hidden risks of common numbing procedures

NCT ID NCT07238933

Summary

This large observational study aims to find out how often serious complications happen after single-injection regional anesthesia, which is used to numb specific areas of the body for surgery or pain relief. It will follow over 3,300 patients to track events like nerve injury, bleeding, or toxic reactions. The main goal is to gather better information on the true risks and identify which patient factors or techniques might make complications more likely.
