Calmer Wake-Up after surgery? study tests new anesthesia method

NCT ID NCT07276633

Summary

This study looked at whether giving a very low dose of a common anesthesia drug (propofol) right before removing a patient's breathing tube could lead to a calmer, more comfortable wake-up after nose surgery. It compared this approach to standard care in 80 adults. The main goal was to see if it reduced post-surgery agitation, confusion, and restlessness.
