Epidural plus general anesthesia: does it change muscle relaxant recovery?

NCT ID NCT05907811

First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at 60 adults having gastric cancer surgery to see if adding an epidural to general anesthesia affects how long muscle relaxants last and how much pain medicine is needed. Patients were split into two groups: one got only general anesthesia, the other got both. The main focus was on recovery time from muscle relaxation. Results may help doctors choose the best anesthesia plan for these surgeries.
