Summary
This study aimed to see which of two computer-controlled methods was better at predicting how deeply a patient was anesthetized during surgery. It involved 70 healthy adults having elective surgery. Researchers compared the computer's predictions against actual brain monitor readings for 20 minutes after patients lost consciousness.
