Doctors test which mask grip helps surgery patients breathe better

NCT ID NCT07179432

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common ways to hold a breathing mask works best for adults under general anesthesia during surgery. Researchers will compare the 'C-E' and 'V-E' hand techniques on 206 patients to see which provides better airflow and is easier for doctors to use. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve standard care, but it won't change any other part of the patient's surgery or recovery.
