Summary

This study looks back at the medical records of 1,200 patients who had surgery for various cancers. Researchers want to understand how often and why some patients develop voice problems or throat injuries after having a breathing tube placed during anesthesia. By identifying the risk factors, the goal is to help doctors prevent these complications in future patients.
