Anesthesia showdown: which method is safer for diabetics in surgery?

NCT ID NCT07496593

Summary

This study compares two common anesthesia techniques for diabetic patients undergoing minimally invasive chest surgery. Researchers want to see if one method (Total Intravenous Anesthesia) helps control blood sugar levels better than the other (Balanced Anesthesia with inhaled gas) during and after the operation. The goal is to find which approach leads to fewer complications and better recovery for these patients.
