Can anesthesia choice stop Post-Surgery cough?

NCT ID NCT07190664

Summary

This study aims to see if using different anesthesia methods during lung cancer surgery can help prevent or reduce a chronic cough that patients sometimes develop afterwards. Researchers will compare three different airway management techniques in 228 patients undergoing a specific type of minimally invasive lung surgery. The goal is to find which method best reduces how often the cough happens, how long it lasts, and how severe it is, ultimately improving patients' quality of life after their operation.
