Brain surgery anesthesia study aims to sharpen recovery

NCT ID NCT06779890

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common types of anesthesia is better for patients having brain tumor surgery. Researchers will compare inhaled gases (like sevoflurane) to intravenous drugs (like propofol) to see which one better maintains stable brain conditions and helps protect thinking skills after the operation. The goal is to provide clearer guidance for doctors on the safest choice for these delicate surgeries.
