Gas flow in surgery: a simple switch to stop Post-Op nausea?

NCT ID NCT06952946

Summary

This study looked at whether changing the flow rate of anesthesia gases during nose surgery could reduce nausea and vomiting afterward. It involved 150 adults having septorhinoplasty, who were split into groups receiving low, medium, or high gas flow. Researchers compared how often patients felt sick or vomited in the 24 hours after their operation.
