Shoulder surgery breakthrough: finding the best anesthesia for clearer views
NCT ID NCT06786013
Summary
This study compared two types of anesthesia during shoulder surgery to see which gives surgeons a clearer view inside the joint. Researchers followed 80 patients having rotator cuff repair, measuring blood pressure, heart rate, and how clearly surgeons could see during the procedure. The goal was to determine if one anesthesia method causes less bleeding and better visibility, potentially leading to safer, more precise surgeries.
