Breathing easier under anesthesia: study tests which gas is gentler

NCT ID NCT07295158

Summary

This study is comparing two common anesthesia gases, sevoflurane and desflurane, to see which one puts less stress on patients' lungs during gallbladder removal surgery. Researchers will measure breathing effort during the operation and check for any breathing problems right after surgery. The goal is to find which gas helps patients breathe more easily while under anesthesia.
