Doctors test which anesthesia keeps your arm better oxygenated

NCT ID NCT07449611

Summary

This study aimed to understand how two common anesthesia techniques affect blood flow and oxygen delivery to the arm during shoulder surgery. Researchers compared general anesthesia (where you are fully asleep) to a nerve block (which numbs just the shoulder and arm). They measured blood flow and oxygen levels in the arms of 50 patients to see which method better maintained healthy circulation.
