Surgery painkiller showdown: which computer model works best?
NCT ID NCT07259291
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two computer models is better at guiding the delivery of a powerful painkiller (remifentanil) during surgery. Researchers will compare an older, commonly used model with a newer one in 100 patients to see if one leads to better pain control during the operation and a smoother recovery afterward. The goal is to gather knowledge to help anesthesiologists deliver more precise and effective pain relief.
