New anesthesia drug tested for safer robotic surgery

NCT ID NCT07251101

Summary

This study compares two different anesthesia drugs (remimazolam vs. propofol) to see which one better maintains stable blood pressure during robotic gynecologic surgery. Researchers will measure blood pressure continuously in 58 women undergoing robotic hysterectomy to determine which anesthesia approach causes fewer blood pressure problems. The goal is to identify which method provides more stable vital signs during this specific type of surgery.
