Which anesthesia keeps your brain healthier during gallbladder surgery?

Summary

This observational study will look at 84 people having gallbladder surgery to see how two different anesthesia methods affect brain oxygen levels and recovery. One method uses desflurane gas plus remifentanyl, the other uses propofol plus remifentanyl. The study does not test new treatments but aims to gather information to help guide future anesthesia choices.
