Summary

This study looks at how two different types of anesthesia—gas (volatile) versus IV (propofol)—affect brain swelling and thinking skills in 84 adults having brain tumor surgery. The goal is to find which method keeps the brain more stable and helps patients recover clearer thinking. Participants are randomly assigned to one anesthesia type, and doctors measure brain oxygen levels and cognitive function after surgery.
