Summary
This study tested an investigational drug called etavopivat to see if it could safely treat anemia in adults with certain types of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), a bone marrow disorder. The main goal was to see if the drug could help patients increase their hemoglobin levels and reduce their need for red blood cell transfusions. The study was terminated early and enrolled only 17 participants.
