Pill vs. injection: new hope for dialysis Patients' anemia?

NCT ID NCT07300111

Summary

This study is testing if a new oral pill called daprodustat (QLG1218) is as safe and effective as standard injection treatments for anemia in adults with chronic kidney disease who are on dialysis. About 100 participants in China will be randomly assigned to receive either the new pill or the standard injection (darbepoetin alfa) for about 32 weeks. The main goal is to see if the pill can control hemoglobin levels as well as the injection.
