New drug offers hope for dialysis patients battling anemia

Summary
This study is testing if it's safe and effective to switch dialysis patients with anemia from their current medication to a newer, longer-acting drug called pegmolesatide. It will enroll 96 patients who are currently stable on a specific type of anemia pill. The goal is to see if the new injection works as well and to figure out the right switching dose.
