First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving testosterone to men with low levels of the hormone could improve dry eye symptoms. 77 men participated, half with low testosterone and half with normal levels. The treatment group received testosterone injections every two weeks, and researchers measured tear quality and eye comfort over 18 weeks. The goal was to see if hormone replacement could help manage dry eye disease.
