New drug trial aims to boost blood levels in cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06075043
Summary
This study is testing a new drug called AND017 to see if it can safely raise hemoglobin levels in cancer patients with anemia who are not receiving chemotherapy. Researchers will give different doses to 36 participants and measure how many people see a meaningful increase in their hemoglobin over 6 weeks. The goal is to reduce the need for blood transfusions and improve this common side effect of cancer.
