NCT ID NCT05641844
First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment called RD2 Ver.02 for anal fistulas, which are abnormal tunnels that form between the anal canal and the skin. The treatment uses a patient's own blood, which is clotted and injected into the fistula tract to help it heal. The study will compare this to a placebo (saline) in 110 adults to see if it improves healing and reduces infection or recurrence over 6 to 12 months.
