Breakthrough trial aims to save kids from sepsis organ failure

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug anakinra can calm dangerous overactive inflammation in children whose organs are failing due to sepsis. Researchers will give the drug or a placebo to 500 critically ill children in intensive care units. The goal is to see if controlling this inflammation helps children's organs recover and improves their long-term health.
