Summary
This study aims to find out how common amyloidosis is among patients scheduled for trauma surgery. Researchers will screen 246 patients using a checklist of 'red flag' symptoms and medical history clues. The goal is to identify hidden cases of this protein disorder that might otherwise go undiagnosed.
