First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study compares two types of dressings for second-degree burns: one made from amniotic membrane and one made from silver (Aquacel®Ag). The goal is to see which one helps burns heal faster. About 100 adults with burns covering up to 40% of their body will take part. Results may offer a more affordable and effective option for burn care, especially in countries with limited resources.
