New Wound-Healing patch made from birth tissue enters major trial
NCT ID NCT07223892
Summary
This study is testing whether a special wound dressing made from amniotic tissue helps chronic wounds heal better than standard care alone. It will involve 600 adults with wounds that haven't healed for over a month, such as diabetic foot ulcers or pressure sores. Researchers will compare how quickly and completely wounds close, and measure pain and quality of life.
