Could a baby's cord membrane fix arthritic hand pain?

Summary

This study tests a special implant made from donated umbilical cord tissue to treat a type of hand arthritis called STT osteoarthritis. The implant is placed between the bones to reduce pain and improve hand function. The trial will enroll 14 adults who have not gotten relief from other treatments. The main goal is to see if patients report 25% less disability one year after surgery.
