Scientists track rare nerve disease to pave way for future treatments

NCT ID NCT05008874

Summary

This study aimed to better understand how disabilities from Adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN) change over time in adults. Researchers observed 65 adult men with AMN to track their walking ability and quality of life. The goal was to gather information to help design future treatment trials, as there are currently no approved treatments for this progressive nerve disorder.
