Summary

This study is testing whether a new injectable drug called amlitelimab can help regrow hair in adults with severe alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition causing significant hair loss. 166 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo via injection for 36 weeks, followed by an optional extension period. Researchers will measure hair regrowth and monitor safety to see if this treatment effectively controls the disease.
