New hope for kids with tough-to-beat leukemia
NCT ID NCT03263936
Summary
This study tested whether adding two drugs (decitabine and vorinostat) before standard chemotherapy could help children and young adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has come back or hasn't responded to treatment. The main goal was to find the safest dose of this new combination. It involved 37 participants aged 1 to 25 years.
