Scientists hunt for early warning signs of Leukemia's return
NCT ID NCT05224661
Summary
This study aims to learn if tracking tiny amounts of leftover leukemia cells in the blood can help doctors predict and understand relapse in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who have received a stem cell transplant. Researchers will follow 303 adult patients in remission, collecting blood samples regularly for up to 3 years to see how these markers relate to survival and relapse. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future monitoring and care, not to test a new treatment.
