Can a simple supplement fix 'Leaky Gut' in stunted kids?

NCT ID NCT07256028

Summary

This study aims to understand if giving amino acid supplements for 28 days can improve gut health and nutrient absorption in young Moroccan children (18-36 months old) who are stunted and have a condition called environmental enteropathy. Researchers will measure changes in gut permeability and how well the children absorb amino acids. The goal is to gather knowledge that could inform future nutritional treatments.
