Does a faster ambulance save more lives? massive study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT06666647
Summary
This study aims to find out if faster ambulance and helicopter arrival times are linked to better survival and recovery for emergency patients. Researchers will look back at the records of 2.5 million people in Denmark who used emergency medical services from 2016 to 2022. They will track each patient's journey to see if shorter response times were connected to better chances of leaving the hospital alive.
