Ambulance blood tests aim to keep patients home
NCT ID NCT07503470
Summary
This study is testing whether giving ambulance crews portable blood testing devices helps them make better decisions about who needs to go to the hospital. The goal is to safely allow more people to stay at home after an emergency call, reducing unnecessary trips. Researchers will compare ambulance teams that have the blood tests to those using standard care, tracking if more patients stay home and if it's safe.
